Found this place accidentally - Durham always needed a shawarma spot and wasn’t aware this spot opened up. Upon entry, very clean and spacious restaurant. Parking is a little hard. Ordered their large shawarma mixed plate. They had the option of cinnamon rice and regular rice, they let me sample the cinnamon and it was a bit too strong for me. As a Turkish spot, if they bring bulgar rice - that would be a game changer. Standard veggie options and sauces. Upon getting my plate, portions were huge and the chicken was perfect and fresh - no cartilage or weird smell like other shawarma spots. Gyro was also good and tender. There was a small error in my plate, as I think I got someone else’s - but they did not hesitate to fix it right away. They also gave my son free toys! Amazing customer service. Will be coming back again to try their other menu items

Really happy to find this spot in Durham, serving up fresh, tasty and delicious shawarma and doner. The restaurant is clean and I personally love seeing the food prep area immaculate and clean. The staff are super friendly, they have 2 options of rice and he explained and gave me a sample before I ordered. The chicken shawarma was delicious, love the variety of toppings offered for the salad. The hummus, garlic sauce and tahini are really flavourful.

Found this beautiful new Turkish delight! Best wrap in the style of cuisine I have ever had. I was greeted with a pleasant smile from the gentleman who was serving. The entire place was impeccably, clean, well organized, and all food items were fresh. And when I say, fresh, he didn’t open up a drawer to get the meat for my Shawarma. He literally shaved it into a bowl from the spit! How wonderful is that? I’m definitely going back for the Donaire next time.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Well Done Shawarma Turkish Cuisine. The food quality was terrible and everything was overloaded with sauce to the point that the actual meat flavor completely disappeared. Also requested no onion, the plate was full with onions. I also requested utensils with the order, but none were included, so I had no fork or spoon to eat with. On top of that, I ordered 2 Cokes and only received 1, and it was warm instead of cold. The shawarma wrap itself was soaked in so much sauce that it kept falling apart while eating, making it messy and difficult to enjoy. Overall, this was a very disappointing order and I wouldn’t order from here again.
