Turkish Dining is an independent editorial guide to one of the world’s most refined and least understood cuisines. We publish restaurant guides, recipes, and stories aimed at Canadian readers who want to eat Turkish food well — at home, in the neighbourhood, and in the country.
We were founded in 2026 by a small group of editors and Toronto-area food lovers who couldn’t find a single trustworthy English-language resource on Turkish food in Canada. So we built one.
What we cover
City Guides. Restaurant-by-restaurant reviews of the best Turkish places to eat in Toronto, Mississauga, and the GTA — refreshed quarterly.
Recipes. Home-kitchen-tested versions of Anatolian classics, written by editors who actually cook them.
Stories. Ingredient histories, travel notes from Istanbul and Gaziantep, and the quiet politics that shape a Turkish kitchen.
Editorial ethics
We do not accept payment for inclusion in our guides. Restaurants featured in our city guides are chosen on merit, visited anonymously, and reviewed honestly. If we ever take sponsored content, it will be clearly labelled.
