Privacy policy.

Turkish Dining (operating from Toronto, Canada) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

What we collect

Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to The Letter (our weekly email), we collect your email address. We use it only to send you the newsletter and occasional editorial updates. We do not share it with third parties.

Server logs. Our hosting provider (AWS Amplify) keeps standard server access logs — IP addresses, timestamps, and requested URLs — for 30 days. These are used for operational troubleshooting and security monitoring only.

Analytics.We use privacy-respecting analytics that don’t require cookies and don’t collect personally identifiable information.

What we don’t collect

  • We don’t set tracking cookies.
  • We don’t use third-party advertising trackers.
  • We don’t sell, rent, or share your data.
  • We don’t use AI systems on your data for training or any other purpose.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. To request that we delete any data we hold about you, write to privacy@turkishdining.ca.

We comply with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and aim to meet or exceed GDPR standards for visitors from the European Union.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your data, we will update this page and note the change date above. For substantive changes, we will email newsletter subscribers directly.
