Yummy Istanbul in Mississauga is a great new addition to the Ridgeway Plaza. We tried their mixed platter, which comes with kebab, lamb shanks, rice, chicken, and beef seekh kebab — easily enough for four to five people. Everything was flavourful and well‑prepared. The Angus beef brisket was especially tasty and stood out on the table. Overall, the food quality is very good. A slight improvement in the spice profile to better match authentic Turkish cuisine would make the experience even stronger. Still, it was a pleasant visit and a nice place to enjoy a hearty meal with family or friends.

I frequent Turkish restaurants often since it’s my favourite cuisine, and I wanted to try this place because the reviews looked promising. We ordered the platter for two, which cost $65. While the meat was tasty, it didn’t feel authentically Turkish, only the kebab really stood out. The breads were especially disappointing, I think they just slapped a tortilla with some leftover seasoning on top of the platter. The service was also a letdown. Water isn’t complimentary and must be purchased by the bottle, which was surprising. They also don’t offer complimentary tea, nor do they provide bread and dips while you wait, which is standard at most Turkish restaurants. After our food arrived, our waitress never checked on us again. We wanted more garlic dip but couldn’t get anyone’s attention. The restaurant is also quite cramped. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations, and I wouldn’t return

I recently visited Yummy Istanbul hoping to try their famous tantuni, but unfortunately, the Milton location doesn’t serve it. I then went to the Ridgeway Plaza location, and overall, it was a great experience. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, though it arrived slightly cool. If it were served piping hot, it would have been even better. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. The ambiance is casual and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed meal. Overall, Yummy Istanbul offers authentic Turkish flavors with great service. Highly recommended if you’re in the area, just check the menu in advance if you’re looking for specific dishes like tantuni! Ambiance: 4/5 Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4.5/5

A relatively new eatery in the Ridgeway Plaza extension. We love Turkish cuisine so we make an effort to try new places when we see one! Ordered the traditional adana kebabs, chicken kebab, the spicy chicken kebab and the hummus of course! Hummus was fresh and smooth served along with the hot bread - one of the finest hummus 👌 I've had in Mississauga! Adana and chicken kebabs were grilled to perfection and the spicy chicken kebab had a good kick to it! All meals were served with a side of fresh salad, rice or fries. Wanted to try the kunafa but was stuffed.... maybe next time. Overall a pleasant experience ☺️

We had a wonderful time here and Mara who served us was so pleasant and patient with us. I loved the bread they serve on the side was so good ! I ordered it as a take away too. It so hot and fresh we finished it while we were still at the restaurant!
