I had a wonderful experience at Almast Turkish Delight Cafe at Dixie & Dundas. I tried their cold baklava and Turkish tea, and both were absolutely delicious. The baklava was perfectly chilled, rich, and not overly sweet, while the tea was authentic and refreshing — a perfect pairing. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. You can really feel the hospitality as soon as you walk in. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and beautifully set up, making it a great place to relax and enjoy dessert. Overall, the desserts were amazing, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Turkish sweets!

I first visited "Almast Turkish Dessert" for a "get-acquainted meeting." The cleanliness of the interior, the cleanliness of the product counters, and the cleanliness of the restroom were the first things that caught my attention. It was quiet, and the background music was quite good. I went two more times afterward. I saw that these aspects were consistently the same, which is why I wanted to write this review. The desserts and other products are fresh, and the lady who runs the shop is friendly and hospitable. I hope you maintain this high standard. Thank you for providing us with such a happy and peaceful environment. If you want to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with your loved ones, eat delicious desserts and cookies, or hold small get-acquainted events in a peaceful, clean, stress-free setting, I think you will be pleased.

Absolutely delicious desserts! The best Turkish delights I’ve had in sauga—fresh, rich, and full of flavor and such a lovely owner—Zubeda is wonderful. Highly recommend!

This is our first time of trying turkish sweets, our experience went really good. Zubeida served us, she made good recommendations, we tried Turkish coffee, lokum, Turkish delight (pastry) kunafa and diff kinds of baklava. Everything was good my kids loved lokum. We loved everything. Nice place Very Good variety of Turkish sweets, nice customer service.

I tried the Tres Leches cake and coffee at this Turkish café—both were amazing. The cake was soft and delicious, the coffee was perfectly brewed, and the vibe is so good. Very relaxing place. Definitely recommend and will visit again. ☕
