I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. It is clean, homey, and the staff is so friendly. The food was great because it was meticulously cooked, tender, and tasty. The salad was especially fresh, which my daughter loved. She said the sauce matched her preferences and was not sour. And you were right, Mohammad—your sauce was the best I have ever tasted. This place well deserves a great review. And I definitely be back to taste more of your menu. Thank you for meeting my expectations. Nailed it!

I came from London, England. I came here to try the Afghan food my first day here as an Afghan myself, and I have been coming here everyday. The food is very good, the service is top level, and the restaurant has a calming vibe to it. I would recommend everyone to come here and try the food.

Absolutely amazing people and top-notch customer service something that’s sadly been forgotten in many places across Canada. The team here truly cares about their customers and makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The food is incredibly delicious and tastes so authentic, just like back home! Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates real hospitality and quality food!

I rarely leave negative reviews as I am not a fan of putting down small businesses but after supporting this restaurant for over 7 years I feel compelled to say something. I’ve been coming here since 2019 and continued supporting the business throughout COVID. For years I considered it the best Afghan food in the area and recommended it to countless friends and family members. Lately I’ve noticed portions getting smaller and overall quality decreasing as everything is with recession but today’s visit (June 14) was the final straw. The tandoori chicken kebab I ordered was dry, overcooked, and lacked the flavour that made me a loyal customer in the first place. What disappointed me most wasn’t even the food however. It was how much the overall experience has changed. For years there was a wonderful lady working here who recognized regular customers and genuinely seemed to care about people. She always made customers feel welcome and appreciated. Today the experience felt completely different. Everything felt transactional, rushed, and focused on charging extra for every little thing. The sauce containers now are barely filled, and I was expected to pay extra for more. After so many years of loyalty it felt like the restaurant was more interested in squeezing every last dollar out of customers than keeping them happy. Maybe management won’t care about losing one customer. But loyal repeat customers are what kept this business going in the first place. If the goal is to replace regulars with a constant stream of one time customers I wish you luck with that strategy. So I can say after more than 7 years of support I won’t be returning here anymore. We had the mix family platter. The portions are plentiful and its contents diverse. There was something for everyone in our group on those plates. The salad was phenomenal. The Afghan tandoori chicken is excellent. The steamed rice with raisins was good. That bread that they make in the tandoor was one of the first items to get completely emptied out. The family that runs this place is extremely friendly and attentive. This place satisfies all the criteria for five stars. You get high-quality food, prepared from scratch, that is flavourful but also low-sodium friendly. They serve healthy and delicious food here at a reasonable price point. It has become my go-to Afghan restaurant when I am in the area.
