Wife and I have been on a bit of a kebab meat kick lately and finally decided to try out Taksim. We loved it! This was the third time we've had shawarma/donair over the last couple of weeks and i can easily say this was our favourite by a long shot. The people working here were all super friendly with us. We ordered two chicken donair platters and they were nice enough to offer up giving us half couscous and half rice so that we could try both. The salads were delicious and refreshing, and the sauces were so good. My only regret was I didn't ask for more garlic and donair sauce. Will definitely be coming back!

Such a great late night spot was able to enjoy a wonderful chicken Doner wrap. It was so flavorful. It was so good and the portions are incredible for the price. Definitely a place. I’ll be visiting more often. The bread was so fresh and it smelt incredible. Thank you for the fresh meal.

Located heart of North York, Me and My husband absolutely loves this place, specially my husband I think he could eat here every single day! The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the people who run it are just wonderful. It’s a real family-run business, owned by a hardworking Turkish family who put their heart into everything they do. I always joke that they might as well adopt my husband, he’s there so often 😄. If you’re looking for a great spot for lunch or dinner that’s delicious, down-to-earth, and not the least bit pretentious, this is it. You can truly feel the warmth and honesty behind the food and the people. Highly recommend!

Fantastic spot for some good food. Good portions on the plate, notably the potato was really good. Got the mixed doner plate, and some baklava for dessert!
