What diners say
Reviews via GoogleAleppo Kebab offers a truly authentic and flavorful Syrian dining experience. The food is excellent — from the grilled kebabs to the rice, dips, and fresh salads, everything was well-prepared and full of traditional taste. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff is friendly and attentive. One highlight of the visit was the chefs singing traditional Syrian songs while working — it added a warm, cultural, and lively touch to the overall atmosphere, which we really enjoyed. The service was also very good, with orders served on time and the team making sure guests were comfortable. However, the main issue is the seating arrangement. The space is quite small, and too many tables have been added, making it feel very congested, especially for families with kids. It’s difficult to move around and doesn’t allow for a relaxed dining experience. The layout could really benefit from some rethinking to improve comfort. In terms of cleanliness, while the restaurant has a nice visual appeal, it’s challenging for the staff to maintain during peak hours. We noticed the floors were a bit oily and slippery, and there was some trash around the dining area. A bit more focus on floor cleaning and space management would make a big difference. Overall, Aleppo Kebab is a great place for authentic Syrian food with a warm and lively vibe. With some improvements in seating and cleanliness, it could become one of the best Middle Eastern spots in the area.
I had an amazing dining experience at Aleppo Kebab at Lawrence Street. Their grilled items were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and truly a highlight of the meal. The Adana Kebab, a minced meat kebab, was especially outstanding—juicy, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. It was easily one of the best I’ve had! The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for the quality of food. The spicy bread that comes in their plates is quite amazing. The restaurant has a great vibe—warm, inviting, and comfortable. The service was also excellent; the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. A fully deserved 5 star!
The flavors at this Middle Eastern restaurant Aleppo Kebab are nothing short of spectacular—authentic, fresh, and beautifully seasoned. Every dish is a delight, from the aromatic spices to the perfectly cooked meats. The service was warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A special shout-out to Alaa, who went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic dining experience. Their kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. Highly recommend for a memorable meal!
Always a great experience to dine in at Aleppo’s. The food is the best of it’s cuisine. Love the fresh hot right out of the over roti. Had charcoal grilled sandwiches and they were bomb. The service is quick as i forgot to order drinks and the spicy bread and the guy just took less than 5 secs to bring it fresh on my table. Since last year it has become my family’s go to place for dinners.
The kebab platter was great. The shawarma was probably the only weak link. All the grilled kebabs were excellent. The washrooms weren't very clean but the restaurant itself was great. Prices were pretty good for the portion. The half platter was enough for 2 people with left overs enough for another 2.
