I was on my way home from the airport and searched for Turkish restaurant. I am glad I came to Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine. Ozan was very friendly and helpful. The beef doner was delicious. The chai (black tea) was also good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will come again.

We visited on a Saturday evening. Overall experience was average, around 6/10. For a newly opened restaurant, we honestly expected something more impressive. The salad was not very fresh, fries were cold, and the rice was quite bland. However, the meat was cooked well and had good flavor. The pide was nice and enjoyable. Desserts were the highlight – the tres leches was good, and the original baklawa was flavorful and well done. Drinks were just so-so. The vibe of the place was also average, nothing that really stood out. Staff was pleasant and polite, which we appreciated. With so much competition in the food industry, they really need to step up their game in terms of food quality, freshness, and overall experience if they want to build a strong reputation and survive in the business.

Sultan Ahmet offers variety and quality of Turkish cuisine, including appetizers, Kebab, Pideh, Wrap, Sea Food, Doner and Turkish Desserts. We ordered “Mix Meze Plate (Hummus, Ezme, Cacik and Baba Ganoush)” for starter. It was served with freshly baked bread that added extra flavour to the delicious dips. For entrée, we ordered “Chef’s Mix Grill Dinner for 1”, “Chicken Biçak Arasi Pide” and “Lamb Chops”. Kebabs were well-marinated and grilled. Pide was delicious and well-seasoned. For dessert, we ordered baklava with Turkish Tea. I definitely recommend the wet baklava as it tasted amazing; right amount of sweetness and moist. Sally, the manager, is very friendly and deeply cares about providing great time for the customers.
