The first time I visited was for their iftar buffet during Ramadan. The place had a really nice Ramadan vibe and it was completely packed, which I expected. However, the first impression from the host at the front was not great. I tried to ignore it because I understand that it can get overwhelming when the restaurant is busy. Food-wise, there was a decent variety of dishes. Some items were okay, but overall the food didn’t feel very fresh to me, like it wasn’t necessarily made the same day. The buffet line was also extremely busy, which made the experience a bit stressful. What really ruined the experience was the service. Our waitress only came to our table once, and that was just to tell us that there was a one-hour limit, that we needed to pay, and that they needed the table. We felt rushed the entire time and didn’t even get to sit for a full hour. I understand that restaurants can set time limits when they are busy, but usually it’s around two hours on busy nights. Being rushed like that, especially during iftar, made the whole experience very disappointing. Overall, it was a pretty horrible experience for us.

Found this place very overrated. We primarily chose it for high google rating 4.8 and 21k reviews - you’d think this must be a really nice place but neither the food, nor the service were nearly close to that. Didnt find anything on the menu that would stand out compared to other Turkish restaurants in Mississauga and Toronto. Also food taste was pretty regular - again compared to most Turkish places I’ve tried. The food was ready soon after we ordered though - so that was good. Service wasn’t really good.

I was reluctant to go to this restaurant as most overhyped places turn out to be complete duds but I’m so glad that was not the case here. We went there on a Wednesday during a dinner buffet, served after their iftar buffet and the place was packed. First the food. There was a variety of meat, vegetable dishes and sweets that were being served. Generally the food served at any buffet is not up to to À la Carte level but that seemed the opposite here. Almost all dishes were very flavourful and did not seem to have been put out in a rush. The Adana Kebabs, Iskender Chicken, bulgur pilaf, and everything that we tried was just perfection. Now the customer service. It is rare to see all the service staff so efficient and in sync to serve customers at a buffet where there would be a line up of people waiting for a seat. The young lady at reception was friendly and focused. The floor manager, Dawood, was walking the dinning area to check if any table needed anything and would delegate as needed. He was very friendly, introduced himself to people and then would go to the kitchen to make sure everything was running smoothly. It was non stop. We never felt rushed. These things are not seen, at least in North America, at buffets. Definitely worth the experience.

Amazing food, spectacular service and a cool vibe! We had the Firinda Beyti Chicken Kebab, the Manti, the Beef Iskender Kebap, and the Spinach Pide. The portions were generous and delicious! Huge shoutout to Kubra and the staff at Sultan Ahmet, definitely recommend if you are craving classic Turkish Cuisine!

Great food although a bit overpriced. Our waitress was Fatima and she did a wonderful job making sure we were satisfied. The kunafa we ordered was a bit burnt and she was ready to have it swapped immediately. Would come here again. Manti was my personal favourite dish.
