I’ve never tried Turkish food so my friend and I wanted to give a try. Once we were seated in, we started looking at google reviews and got scared by some of the harsh comments they received. We were given tea at the beginning (we were worried if we would get charged based on other comments we saw - but we didn’t get charged for the tea). It was like some sort of black tea and was very nice. The lunch menu seemed to be slightly pricey, and we ordered chicken fettucine and meatball with fries. Overall food taste was good, not amazing. It was more like IKEA-food good. Definitely not worth the $25-27 each dish (before tax/tip). The server was nice and provided good service, not rude at all. If the prices are reasonable, I would definitely go back, but unfortunately I wouldn’t consider going back here with these prices.

We order the Meryem Hanim's breakfast table for 2 and we added two more plates and it was enough food for 4 people. Food was amazing, plenty of options for share or eat individually. Atmosphere was great, place was very comfy, music volume was adequate. This time we tried breakfast but definitely we will come back to try more options either breakfast or lunch. To sum up, highly recommended. 💯💯

It was a nice atmosphere. The food was good. Great quantity. Good ambiance and aesthetics. The staff was good however short staffed establishment made the service slow. Menu could have slight variation where individual items can be ordered specially for new adopters. However, i loved my experience.

I have eaten in a lot of Turkish restaurants, including in Turkey, this restaurant is very good! Their soft bread with the Ali Nazik, tasty! Some of you may not believe me, but their baklava is one of best I have ever had! I found out it is made in-house, but I was not expecting it to taste that good. Highly recommend.

Easily the worst Turkish breakfast experience I’ve had in Toronto. We paid $112 for what can only be described as a sad, incomplete plate of food. Several items listed on the menu were simply missing — and when we asked, the response was a casual “we don’t have it” with zero apology, explanation, or effort to fix it. No substitutions, no price adjustment — nothing. It didn’t get better from there. We were first offered a decent table, then abruptly moved to a much worse one right beside a loud group with multiple kids. Completely disorganized and honestly disrespectful. The service was just as bad. We had to ask for everything — tea, napkins, basic attention. For a Turkish breakfast, where tea is usually continuously served, this was almost laughable. And the food? • Tiny portions • Poor quality ingredients • Randomly spicy items with no balance • A couple of sad fruit slices thrown on the plate like an afterthought • Barely any eggs Nothing about it felt authentic or worth the price. My boyfriend is Turkish and was genuinely speechless — not in a good way. This place does not come close to representing Turkish breakfast. We left feeling completely ripped off and disappointed. Avoid at all costs.
