The best afghani starter i had! The vibe is perfect for a friendly gathering! the only thing is that it's a little bit pricy. But i love the atmosphere and the vibe. The traditional irani-afghani sofa(Majles) was so beautiful. The food was delicious specially the starters. I didnt like the kabobs that much and the dessert was also not fresh. The service is also good

Absolutely loved my experience at MAWLANA Afghan & Turkish Cuisine! The food here is incredibly flavourful, authentic, and made with so much care. The kabobs were perfectly grilled — juicy, tender, and packed with smoky flavour and delicious spices. The Qabili Pilau with lamb shank was truly outstanding. The lamb was fall-off-the-bone tender and paired perfectly with the fragrant rice, sweet carrots, and raisins. It tasted comforting and rich in flavour, just like a homemade Afghan meal. The mantu was another highlight — delicate dumplings filled with seasoned meat and topped with a savoury sauce and creamy yogurt that balanced everything beautifully. Every bite was delicious. And you absolutely cannot leave without trying the Afghan ice cream for dessert. It instantly brought back childhood memories and was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. What made the experience even more special was the warm hospitality. Omar, the owner, is incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. You can tell how much passion and heart goes into both the food and the atmosphere here. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Afghan & Turkish cuisine in Missiauga ❤️

We had a lunch with a friend. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious and the atmosphere feels very unique. I cannot recommend this place enough. Go try it! Even if you're not familiar with the cuisine. If you like lamb, definitely give Qabili Palaw a try. The dish is amazing!

The food here was so delicious and savoury that i felt like i was back in turkey in a beachside restaurant. The environment was calm and nostalgic. The service here was amazing we loved our waiter seema her attitude was great and welcoming. We ordered the Mantu, Lentil Soup, Sucuk Pide, and for dessert a backlava with icecream. The mantu was so so savoury and had many layers of flavour and was overall very delicious! The Mantu was my favorite. The Lentil Soup was filled with flavour and so amazing. The first bite was magical. I definetly recommend getting the Lentil Soup and Mantu. There was so much filling in the Mantu and the dumpling skin was thin and the balance was perfect. I would definitely recommend coming here I can say this is the BEST Afghan Turkish Restaurant in Mississauga. I also could not get a photo of the lentil soup since it was so good me and my mom finished it before we could even speak.

I organize social events for ladies in the community and had an Eid Dinner here recently. The service is amazing, I had quite a few conversations with the manager over several days, she was so helpful and made sure the event went really smoothly. She answered all my questions, was very organized and polite. We had our own spot to ourselves and the decor and atmosphere was really welcoming and beautiful. The food was so delicious, I loved the variety, the service was fast, the staff was so courteous. The prices are very reasonable especially considering how expensive things are right now. The portions of food were very generous as well. The owner took time to say hello and was really nice. I highly recommend everyone visit the restaurant. You will have an amazing experience!
