The iskender was sooo good. We also got stretchy ice cream in vanilla and it was tasty! I will definitely come back for this. However, the service was a little slow. We ordered strawberry lemonade and it only came out after we were almost done eating our meal. The button to ring up our waiters also only worked 2/3s of the time, but staff was friendly overall.

Here’s a balanced review you can post: Mado at Shops at Don Mills offers good food and excellent tea. The quality of the dishes was enjoyable, and the tea was one of the highlights of the visit. However, the service was quite slow, and some of the waitstaff seemed inexperienced, which affected the overall experience. With more efficient service, this place could be much better. Overall, a good spot for food and tea if you’re not in a hurry.

The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and the portion size of the dishes were perfect! A little on the pricey side as expected but the large portion size made it worth it. The taste was impeccable-especially the Alfredo chicken pasta. The kebab platter was filling and quite delicious. The mutabbaq was a bit dry but still quite tasty. The pistachio Turkish icecream was delicious and the right amount of sweet!

This was one of the best doners I have ever had—actually, I can confidently say it was the best. I was extremely pleased with the atmosphere, service, and warm welcome. In particular, we were very impressed by the employee named Melik, whose friendly attitude, professionalism, and attentiveness made our experience even more enjoyable. It had been a long time since I received such genuine and high-quality customer service. Everything, from the food to the overall experience, was excellent. Thank you to everyone involved. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to others.
