Disappointing Food Quality with Kind Service I recently dined at Mabelle Turkish Restaurant in Toronto, and unfortunately, the culinary experience fell far short of authentic Turkish standards. While there were a few bright spots, the food overall felt very humble and lacked the vibrant execution and freshness expected of this cuisine. The Highlights The Bread: Absolutely excellent. It was warm, fresh, and easily the best part of the meal. The Service: The staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. The hospitality itself cannot be faulted. Where It Fell Short The Appetizers: Quite disappointing and overly simple. They lacked any dominant flavor profile or distinct seasoning, making them feel flat and uninspired. Grilled Lamb Chops: These were clearly prepared in advance and just held ready, rather than being freshly grilled to order. The Alexandria Doner: This was a major letdown. Instead of being fresh and tender, the meat was incredibly greasy and had a tough, chewy texture. Value & Final Verdict Considering the overall quality of the dishes, the prices are a bit too high for the actual value delivered. While the staff's welcoming attitude is highly appreciated, the kitchen needs to place a much higher emphasis on freshness and authentic execution to justify the cost. This was our first time at this and/or any Turkish restaurant, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, nor have I experienced Turkish cuisine prior to this experience. Sadly, for me, my food allergies restrict me from trying certain foods. That said, everything we ordered was great. I, personally, enjoyed my meal but found it a bit dry since I wasn't able to have most of the sauces as they had an ingredient or 2 that I'm allergic to. The service was superb. All staff were super sweet & accommodating, & went out of their way to help us. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Very well designed & a very comfortable environment. Would definitely recommend. 💕

I had a great breakfast experience at Mabelle Turkish Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. I especially loved the variety of traditional Turkish breakfast items, and everything tasted authentic and well prepared. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. It’s not easy to find a place that gets both the food and service right, but Mabelle did. If you’re looking for a delicious Turkish breakfast and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’ll definitely be back.

I can’t believe I waited this long to try Mabelle Restaurant! I’ve driven by it so many times and always said I’d stop in one day. I’m so glad I finally did because it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely incredible. Every bite was packed with flavour, and the meat was some of the most tender I’ve ever had it practically melted in my mouth. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into every dish. Everything was perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and left us wanting more. It’s rare to find a place where every part of the meal is this delicious, and this restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. The food was absolutely incredible fresh, delicious, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. The service was just as amazing as the food. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Amazing people, amazing food, generous portions, and outstanding quality. If you’ve been driving by like I was, do yourself a favor and stop in you won’t regret it. We will definitely be back! Ps. This was a platter for 4! And there was more than enough!

Mabelle is truly a hidden gem in Scarborough. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. We ordered the mountain salad along with a couple of beef and chicken dishes, and everything was excellent. The salad was fresh and flavorful, and the meats were cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of authentic taste. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. A very nice touch was the complimentary tea at the end, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a great place for a satisfying meal with great service. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be coming back!
