We’ve been to Kebab 49 three times so far, and every single visit has been great. The food quality is consistently high, everything tastes fresh, and the bread is always warm and freshly made. The staff are fast, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which makes the whole experience even better. The food is rich, flavorful, and on the greasy side, but that’s exactly what authentic Turkish food is supposed to be like, so don’t complain about that. If you’re looking for real Turkish flavors, generous portions, and great service, this place definitely deserves a solid 5 stars.

Tried this kebab restaurant a couple of months back and had a really good experience overall. The ambience was quite nice — I went during the summer and sat in the patio section, which made the meal even better. The setup felt warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed meal. The kebabs were flavorful and well-cooked, and the rice that came with them was actually really good — nicely seasoned and paired perfectly with the meal. The portions were generous, and while the prices felt a bit on the higher side, they seemed fair for what was served. Overall, it delivered exactly what you’d expect from a good kebab restaurant. Not a “top 5” kind of place, but definitely a strong 4-star experience — tasty food, nice atmosphere, and worth a visit if you’re craving kebabs.

Kebab 49 on Dundas Street in Etobicoke delivers consistently excellent food with bold, authentic flavors. The kebabs are perfectly seasoned, grilled with care, and served in generous portions that feel well worth the price. Service is friendly, efficient, and makes you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. The restaurant is clean, casual, and ideal for both quick takeout and relaxed dining. Overall, Kebab 49 stands out as a reliable go-to spot for high-quality kebabs in the area.

This is an authentic Turkish restaurant with really delicious food worth being compared to that cooked in Istanbul, where I lived for a short while and fell in love with Turkish food. My dinner was amazing and the service outstanding. It’s been a while since I paid a visit and the place has been renovated with a really nice outdoor terrace. Highly recommended to Turkish foodies.

Probably one of the finest Turkish restaurants in the city. My friends took me here for my farewell from Canada. The platter for 3 was more than enough for we 4, rather it’s sufficient for 5! The prices are reasonable though their desserts are overly priced. They need to improve upon customer service.
