Had a great experience at Helvaci Ali! If you’re a dessert lover, this place is absolutely worth visiting. The helva was incredible warm, rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. I love coming here, and the service the staff provides is always excellent. However, I’ve noticed that there are usually only two staff members working, regardless of whether it’s a busy or slow day. I think management should consider scheduling more staff based on how busy the store gets, especially on holidays and special occasions like Canada Day Eve. It was extremely hectic today, and the two employees were doing their best to keep up with everything. They handled it very well from what I saw but they definitely deserved more support.

Had a great experience at Turkish Helvaa Ali in Ridgeway Plaza, and a big part of that was thanks to Elif. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot on, and she created a really welcoming vibe at the table. It’s always nice when someone genuinely cares about the service they provide. Decided to stop at Helvaci Ali for a warm dessert and I’m glad I did. I ordered the double flavour helva, Walnut and Lotus Biscoff, with ice cream. I loved the Biscoff so much that I ended up getting another single Lotus Biscoff helva. Too good. Will definitely be bringing my family next time so they can try it as well.
