Decided to stop at Helvaci Ali for a warm dessert and I’m glad I did. I ordered the double flavour helva, Walnut and Lotus Biscoff, with ice cream. I loved the Biscoff so much that I ended up getting another single Lotus Biscoff helva. Too good. Will definitely be bringing my family next time so they can try it as well.

When I went for dine in, this place took me back to Turkiye when I visited Istanbul and Cappadocia. The feeling was nostalgic. We got their baklava, coffee and some treats. They make the best baklava. It was delicious, and flavourful. The Turkish coffee is of great quality. It’s rich and authentic. We also took home some Turkish delights and everything was amazing. Fresh, delightful and tasty. I’m glad we found this place and will visit them more often. Highly recommended!

I tried the chocolate and pistachio helva at Helvaci Ali and it was soooo good! I got it with the ice cream too, which made it even better. The pistachio flavor especially stood out, it was rich, nutty, and so delicious. I do wish the portion size was a bit bigger, but the flavor was totally worth it. The service was super nice and friendly, and they even give you samples to try before you buy a cup, which I thought was such a fun touch. The interior has a very authentic Turkish feel to it, which makes the whole experience even better. They also have a big selection of other desserts and Turkish coffee on the menu that I definitely want to try next time. Seating is limited and it can get pretty crowded on weekends, so it’s best to go a little early if you want to sit down. Overall though, amazing desserts, great vibes, and a spot I’ll be going back to for sure.

Got the half an half halva with walnut and pistachio and it was really good. Got it with ice cream at the bottom which added a nice temperature contrast with the warm halva. Also got karak chai which was good but perhaps just a bit too sweet.

We visited Helvacı Ali and had a delightful experience from start to finish. The Turkish tea was superb — true to form, aromatic and flawlessly brewed. The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive and clearly took pride in offering a welcoming atmosphere. On top of that, the Spanish latte I tried tasted great, smooth and well balanced.
