I had a great takeout experience at Hatay Kebab House. The food was fresh, made to order, and full of flavour. I ordered the chicken skewer meal and it was excellent. The chicken kebab was juicy, well-seasoned, and not dry at all. It came with bulgur, which felt like a richer upgrade from rice, plus a fresh side salad and soft flatbread. Portions were large and the price was very reasonable. The service stood out. Labiya was professional, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable even though I was ordering takeout. She offered Turkish tea while I waited and treated me with real care. I stopped by because I was in the Keele and Wilson area, but I’ll be back for the food and the hospitality. If you want fresh, tasty, affordable food that’s worth the drive, Hatay Kebab House is it.

Drove by this place and read the reviews of how good the food was and how friendly the waitress was so I thought I would give it a try. Both were correct. The food was really tasty and the way they wrapped their Shawarma was slightly different than your typical Shawarma but nonetheless, it was very good. Great flavor on their food. The waitress is extremely friendly and very helpful. She creates a great atmosphere. Glad to see people enjoying their jobs such as her as many people have a grumpy face during the Christmas season. It really helps. Enjoy the experience. 10/10 will definitely come back to try other things in the menu

Two days ago, I ordered doner over rice, and I was made to wait a full 25 minutes. Meanwhile, customers who came after me had their orders taken and received their food before me. I have been living in Toronto for a long time and I eat doner quite often, but this is the first time I have had to wait this long. Unfortunately, there was no attention, no care, and no customer satisfaction.

This is one of the hidden gems of Toronto. We love coming here, the waiters are very warm. We told them once that the bread they give as starters reminds us of home, he gave a big one to us for free. Just one suggestion: never serve stale lamb chops, we became sick the other day from the chops, we could smell some staleness. And please don’t reduce serving portions. The platters are always top notch and fresh. The salads and the bread with tomato sauce that they give in the beginning is complimentary, always fresh and refreshing.
