What diners say
Reviews via GoogleMara, our host/server and Sayed, our chef, made us feel like VIPs from the moment we walked in—greeting us at the door and personally presenting our exceptional meat platter with genuine pride.” Our strawberry and mango mock tails to sip while we were waiting for our meats to be cooked. As always, we can go up and get a cup of Turkish, tea, hot and most delicious. However, Mara always made sure I had a hot cup of tea at our table. If you crave meat that melts in your mouth, Eat Meat Smokehouse is the place. Every cut is marinated to perfection and slow-smoked until it’s fall-off-the-bone tender. The ribs are spectacular—succulent, smoky, and so tender they separate from the bone with the gentlest tug, with a beautifully caramelized crust. The brisket is equally extraordinary—pink-smoked throughout, impossibly tender, and bursting with savoury depth. The lamb is a standout—succulent, aromatic, and cooked to juicy perfection with that rich, gamey sweetness lamb lovers crave. The chicken skewers are surprisingly moist and well-seasoned, with a charred exterior and tender, flavourful interior. The homemade breads are rustic yet refined—soft, airy interiors with a lightly crisp edge, clearly made with care and served warm, perfect for all the homemade dips such as creamy mint, labneh, classic hummus, Smokey Baba ghanoush. Yum! Hygienic, consistently excellent, and worth every penny. This is now my go-to for smokehouse BBQ in the GTA.”
Honestly, this place was a complete disaster. The photos and advertisements online are extremely misleading and make the restaurant look clean, professional, and high quality, but the actual experience was the total opposite. The restaurant itself was not clean, the food did not taste fresh at all, and the quality was honestly unacceptable. Some of the food felt old and badly prepared, which made the experience even worse. For the prices they charge, this level of food and cleanliness is shocking. What made everything even more frustrating was the service and management. There was supposedly a manager there, but absolutely no proper management or organization happening at all. Customers were left waiting, nobody was helping properly, and there was no owner present or anyone taking responsibility for the situation. The whole place felt chaotic, unprofessional, and poorly run. Staff looked confused and overwhelmed, and whenever customers needed help, there was barely anyone available. Instead of making customers feel welcomed, the atmosphere felt stressful and ignored. It honestly feels like this place only cares about posting attractive ads online while completely ignoring the actual quality, cleanliness, and customer experience in real life. Very disappointing experience overall, and definitely not a place I would ever recommend to anyone looking for fresh food, good service, or a clean environment.
🌟 Such a wonderful restaurant with a unique blend of Turkish and Arabic cuisine. 🥩 We ordered the smoked meat platter, which included three different types of perfectly cooked meats , each one was flavorful ☕️ As a lovely touch, they served us complimentary Turkish tea at the end 🥇The atmosphere is beautifully designed ,warm, inviting, and comfortable enough to sit back and truly enjoy your time without feeling rushed. 🥇The staff were polite, attentive, and genuinely cared about the experience. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to help with recommendations. 🏅Overall, a fantastic dining experience — definitely a place worth coming back to.
Food was good as seen in photos. Authentic turkish and middle eastern food. They're top items are the meat mixed platter and brisket platter. It can be very busy during middle eastern holidays and you have to reserve a spot before hand. Fine dining experience, but expect to pay fine dining prices that can be high depending on order. My family of 5 people total bill was $240 ate till we got full and leftovers, i guess thats a good price in today's economy.
Me and my parents enjoyed our food here. Our host was Merva was excellent and courteous explained us the different meat platter options available for two people. And a vegeterian option for my mom. She didnt hesistate to answer more questions and to finish our dinner out we were served turkish tea on the house as complimentary. You are the best Merva, thank you for serving us today evening. We had the grilled meat for two, beetroot salad, strawberry mango drink, lentil soup and eggplant appetizer.
