A smashing choice for anyone seeking authentic and hearty Turkish flavors. The food is consistently good enough to warrant a second visit, though some of the desserts can be a bit hit-or-miss. Cag Kebab features tender, beautifully seasoned lamb sliced thin and served directly on the skewers. It’s accompanied by fluffy rice, a fresh Çoban-style salad, and soft bread, making for a proper, filling meal. Authentic Mezes showcases a brilliant start to the meal. The Acili Ezme (the spicy, finely minced tomato mix) packs a lovely punch, while the Haydari (creamy herb-infused yogurt) is wonderfully smooth. The meze topped with pomegranate seeds adds a delightful sweetness that balances the savoury notes. While the main courses are excellent, it is worth noting that the Kunefe can be inconsistent. On my first visit, it was perfect, but on the second, it was sadly not up to the same high standard. The interior of the restaurant is quite charming and unique. The rustic brick walls are accented by lovely mosaic lamps and distinctive circular window murals. These "windows" provide a bit of a global feel, with views of London's Big Ben and the Hong Kong skyline even.

We recently visited Destan Restaurant. The place is beautifully decorated and really reminded me of restaurants in Turkey — a very warm and pleasant atmosphere. The service was excellent. I especially appreciate the girl who served us; she was very polite, friendly, and attentive. We ordered a Turkish pizza called pide, but the first one arrived a bit burnt. We asked if it could be replaced, and they kindly made a new one for us at no extra charge. And we were offered a free tea an pakhlava-THANK YOU !!! The second Pide was much better, and we really appreciated how professionally they handled it. Overall, the food was good. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

The restaurant is located in a plaza with convenient parking. Great dining atmosphere and spacious seats with privacy. The server kindly gave recommendations which turned out wonderful. She also served us free tea and generously offered refill. She had adequate amount of check-ins so was able to notice our needs timely without disrupting our conversations. The food was wonderful we got the lamb skewer and chicken platter and it came in a huge portion. Dessert was very delicious too. Would recommend.

Our server, Tugce, was fantastic and explained the menu and very attentive. She recommended incredible foods and gave us the most delicious coffee and teas to enjoy with our meal. The food was fresh and delicious. We definitely recommend the Kunefe ~ certainly worth the ten minute wait for it to cook fresh. Thank you for an amazing experience in your restaurant

Amazing Turkish food. The service was amazing I wish I got the man’s name. Brought us ice cold water, provided us with amazing dips prior to our meal. Seated us in the beautiful large booths even though it was just two of us. The food came out hot and fresh and was delicious. You must try their cag kebab, so flavourful and unique. Prices are also reasonable. Beautiful place, would love to come again.
