Smashing IT!✌️🇹🇷☕️🇹🇷✌️ Assos Turkish Market A Hidden Gem for Authentic Turkish Flavours on Queen West. I stumbled upon this gem of a grocery store while strolling through the neighbourhood, and I’m so glad I did. If you love Turkish food, Assos Turkish Market is an absolute must‑visit. Located at Queen Street West and Niagara Street — right where the cool, creative energy of the neighbourhood thrives — this market stands out as a haven for anyone craving true Turkish ingredients and warm, welcoming service. What You’ll Find Inside: Assos is stocked with everything you need to create the perfect Turkish meal at home. You’ll find: *Spices and herbs bursting with aroma. *Canned and jarred specialties straight from Turkey. *Frozen favourites for quick, authentic meals. *Hard‑to‑find ingredients that bring real Turkish flavour to your kitchen. *And delicious sweets and other delectable sweets straight from Turkey! Everything is thoughtfully curated, making it easy to explore or restock your pantry with confidence. A Coffee Break Worth Taking: Once you’re done shopping, treat yourself to a delicious, authentic Turkish coffee. It’s rich, bold, and beautifully prepared — the kind of coffee that forces you to slow down and savour the moment. If you’re rushing to work or cramming for an exam, this is also the perfect grab‑and‑go pick‑me‑up. One sip and your day feels instantly more manageable. Knowledgeable, Friendly Service: The owner truly understands Turkish cuisine and is always ready to help with recommendations, cooking tips, or ingredient explanations. Whether you’re a seasoned home cook or just discovering Turkish flavours, you’ll feel supported and inspired. Final Thoughts: If you’re in the neighbourhood, do yourself a favour and stop by Assos Turkish Market. From the ingredients to the coffee to the service, it’s a place that feeds both your appetite and your curiosity.

It’s such a blessing that it’s in Downtown!! It’s a cute little shop where you can try coffee and different varieties, beyond just being a classic Turkish market. I love that it’s so close to home. You can find almost anything you’re looking for. Friendly owners and staff, highly recommended!!!

Lovely little shop with an amazing selection of Turkish products. It’s small, but honestly packed with things I’ve been missing from Turkey. Turkish pastries, drinks, cheeses and so many sweets. They have proper Turkish tea and even salep. Feels very authentic and cozy, I’m really happy I found this place!!
