My family and I recently tried the chicken doner pide from Pide & Spice at the food court in Pickering Town Centre, and it was absolutely amazing! The taste was so good that even my parents—who never leave restaurant reviews—were eager to tell the chef how much they loved it. The pide was incredibly flavorful and made with very fresh ingredients. You can really taste the quality. We even had a fun discussion about their garlic sauce because it had tiny green bits in it—we first thought it was dill, but it seemed more like fennel, which gave it such a unique and delicious twist. Overall, we loved everything about it and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended if you’re in the mall and craving something fresh, Halal and full of flavor!

Sorry to say but we were fed pork belly in a halal restaurant and it was called grilled chicken. At first we didn’t realize it but once we started eating we started to notice the texture was different. We immediately went back to them but were assured it was chicken. However upon closer inspection I can confirm that it was not chicken. I will upload photos of the “grilled chicken” that we were served and let people to decide.

Amazing food — I really loved their menu! It’s halal too, which makes it even better. Definitely a hidden gem and super underrated. I’ll for sure be coming back. Also, the two workers at the front were incredibly kind and hardworking. You can really see the effort they put in. Great service overall!

Nice to have a turkish food option in Pickering Shops food court. I've never had pide before this but I'm sold after trying it here and am now regularly returning. I feel the amount of cheese you get is more than an average pizza joint. Expect to wait around 10 minutes because they make the bread fresh every time. They give you a pager so you can leave and come back. I also really like their sandwiches and baklava. It can be a bit pricey but the portion size is large and I'd recommend taking advantage of any promotional offers they have.

The asian girl at the reception desk is really welcoming. She gives me free samples of chicken and falafel. My first time trying their cheese bread. Food is good. Will recommend this place.
