Both myself and my wife were happy with the dishes we got. The only problem was that she was almost done with hers by the time I got mine. Prices are reasonable, but there are better deals out there. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed the food and decor of the place.

Karvan Restaurant is one of the most authentic Azerbaijani restaurants in the GTA. The interior is beautiful, featuring a large wall photo of the Baku skyline. Service was warm and friendly, and the feijoa juice was unique and refreshing, with real fruit inside. Highly recommended!

I visited Karvan Restaurant and was genuinely very pleased. The rice and chicken skewers were especially delicious. The food was filling, and the portions were quite large. I really enjoyed the flavors. The prices were quite reasonable, and even as a student, they didn’t strain my budget. I also really liked the atmosphere and the music playing in the background. The server was fast, efficient, and very friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely love to come back!

Fantastic traditional dishes, wonderfully helpful server. Family or 'home' vibe. Only downside is the very loud music from the club next door during dinner time. Things to note when ordering: 1. all dishes are made from fresh (such a difference) and so take longer than you may be used to. 2. hot appetizers took longer to arrive than our main dish because all made from scratch... so order apps first and be patient, then order your main. Give yourself some conversation time :) 3. Ask your server for any suggestions or welcome some culinary feedback, very lovely people. For example, I did not know that you are supposed to put a cube of sugar in your mouth and then sip the authentic tea. Made such a taste difference! Thank-you! Happy to go for another dining experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with my guests! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel truly valued as guests. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting — perfect for calebrating my birthday! We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
