I really enjoy Gulbay Bakery. Being open 24 hours is a huge advantage, especially when you want something fresh outside regular hours. We bought simit for just 2 CAD, and it was fresh, warm, and very satisfying. They also have baklava, which looked great and tasted authentic, not overly sweet and nicely balanced. On top of that, I noticed they serve kelle paça soup, which is amazing to see since it’s not easy to find this kind of traditional option in the area. Overall, it feels like a genuine neighborhood bakery with a strong Turkish touch. Convenient, affordable, and full of variety. Definitely recommended.

Oh I'll definitely be back again soon! Super friendly staff and they have a huge selection of pastries and perishables. I also love that they're open 24 hours, how amazing. I purchased 4 acmas - plain, potato, feta and 2 simits. All very soft, fresh and extra a tasty. So grateful to have this bakery in the neighbourhood.

I have been coming here for many years, can’t recommend enough. Especially bagels (simit) and stuffed vine leaves (yaprak sarma) are my kids’ favorites. This place is a gem if you’re looking to sample quality Turkish tastes. Sems Bey is the best.

Fresh bakeries every time, excellent service. We bought two savory baked goods as a late morning snack. One with black olives paste and one stuffed with feta. The bread was still warm. Con : 3$/bun It was more expensive than I expected.
