We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Gul Gul Restaurant in Vaughan, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. We ordered the BBQ platter, and it was nothing short of amazing! The meats were perfectly grilled with incredible flavor—tender, juicy, and packed with that authentic smoky taste we were craving. Every bite was a delight, and the portions were generous enough to leave us fully satisfied (with a little leftover for the next day!). The sides and accompaniments complemented the platter beautifully, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The service was attentive and friendly, and the restaurant itself has a cozy, vibrant vibe that’s perfect for families or friends. We’ll definitely be back soon—Gul Gul has earned a permanent spot on our go-to list in Vaughan. If you’re looking for top-notch BBQ and great Middle Eastern-inspired dishes, this is the place! Highly recommended! 5/5 stars all the way.

Great Turkish and Lebanese restaurant! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The prices were very reasonable, and everything we ordered tasted amazing. The restaurant manager was very friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Excellent service and a great dining experience overall. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back!🌸🌸

Food was good. I'm happy with representation and taste. But I got a bit more for my money when we went to "Sultan Ahmet restaurants" in West Mississauga. Yes it doesn't have live music and shisha. But to my personal taste - they serve meal that taste better :) This restaurant also had AC blazing making it feel like ice age inside. The table made of material close to stone that absorbs cold outside which also turn our meal colder much faster. You're speaking when you walk in it has a lot of character with the music and baking dome and beautiful patio. But when you spend time inside - it isn't as fancy and great as it looks like. Also if you don't smoke - be prepared to second hand smoking - on some days every table would have 1-3 shisha at their table. Food will be 4/5 Service 5/5

I had a birthday dinner here last night, and it had one of the best ambience and vibes I’ve experienced in the GTA among Turkish/Lebanese dine-in restaurants. The live music, tea, shisha, and food were the highlights. Overall, a welcoming and memorable experience. That said, customer service needs improvement. Staff should better understand customer needs, take orders more carefully, suggest popular items, and accommodate seating requests when possible. Customers also shouldn’t be pressured to order immediately after being seated, this place’s live-music vibe is meant for people to relax and stay longer. For the owner, you could further elevate the dine-in experience by dimming the lighting and adding chandeliers above each table, reducing wait times during busy hours, and improving staff training for smoother, more attentive service. Also, while the online menu is convenient, a physical menu with pictures would help, the digital menu was hard to navigate, even for the server. Lastly, basic table service was lacking: water wasn’t provided, and glasses were only brought after asking (still fewer than the number of guests), even though it wasn’t busy and many tables were empty. Overall, great experience. Just needs service and operational improvements to match the excellent atmosphere. Huge shoutout to lead Singer, Fiyad from Syria he knows how to make the vibe, lively atmosphere.

Last week on Thursday I went to Gul Gul Restaurant and this was my first time going there. At first we ordered Appetizers which were Meat with Dough, Hummus with Meat, Fattoush, Salad, Cheese Borek and Trabuls Kibbeh. They were all delicious and the portions were large. At 8 o'clock the oud player started playing and it was a beautiful wedding procession and we enjoyed the playing. Then we ordered dinner and it was a big platter for Three people which included Lamb Shawarma & chicken, Lamb Kebab & chicken, Lamb Tikka & Chicken, Rice and Bulgur. The dinner was delicious and the portions were good. Afterwards we drank Tea the test look like Home Tea and then we left the Restaurant at 11 o'clock , We had a great time.I highly recommend.
