We usually come to this Turkish restaurant for lunch since it’s close to our office, and it has truly become one of our favorites! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming , I love how warm and genuine they are. The Turkish music playing in the background adds such a beautiful vibe to the place, and sometimes I even ask them to play my favorite songs, and they happily do, which is so sweet! They serve the best lahmacun in town crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The kebabs are also amazing, always fresh and perfectly cooked. If you’re a fan of Turkish cuisine and enjoy authentic Turkish music, this spot in Richmond Hill is a must-visit!

We recently visited Eva Turkish Restaurant in Richmond Hill and had mixed feelings about the overall experience. On the positive side, the quality of the food was good and the taste was authentic. If you're looking to enjoy flavorful Turkish cuisine, this place does deliver on that front. However, the service left much to be desired. While the staff member who served us was polite, there was a noticeable lack of warmth and hospitality that you’d typically expect in an Eastern or Turkish dining experience. There was little assistance with seating or any real effort to make us feel welcomed upon arrival. When it came time for dessert, we were disappointed to find that several items, including the popular Kanafeh and even tea, were not available. It was surprising, especially since the restaurant was not busy at the time. Additionally, the washroom was not clean, which gave the impression that attention to detail in overall maintenance might be lacking. The atmosphere of the restaurant also felt a bit cold and not as inviting or cozy as one would expect from a place representing rich Eastern culture. While the food itself was enjoyable, the overall dining experience did not live up to expectations, especially given that there are other Turkish restaurants nearby that offer a more complete and welcoming environment. In short, good food (especially Ali Nazik and Beyti) but not a memorable or warm dining experience. I’d suggest exploring other options in the area.

Super tasty! We had a great dinner here. We highly recommend the Turkish pizzas, Turkish tea, and the kunefe (which is quite large and sweet but heavenly - sharing is a good idea). Enjoy!

Phenomenal Turkish food! We ordered the mix platter for 4 and it was the best Turkish food we’ve ever had!! They put on a show with the fire at the table but then the lamb they cooked in that fire…. OMG … to DIE for … the best lamb ever .. so tender, no gamey taste… ugh too tooo tooooo good! And portion sizes are great! Mixed platter came with meatballs, lamb chops, chicken shish, chicken wings, beef adena, beef shish, beef and chicken doner, a full plate of salad, pita bread with yummy dips, onions and tomatoes, bulgur and white rice! Will definitely be back!!

I recently visited this place with my friends and the chef recommended the “eva mixed grill platter” and it was perfect because of the variety of kabob and sides. It also came with a really cool table side presentation! We had the option of ordering the platter for 2, 4 or 6. And while we were a group of 4, the platter was a large portion and we had some leftover for takeout. I’ll definitely be visiting a lot more since we’re in the area.
