We came to Efendi Restaurant for lunch on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not very busy, which made the experience even more relaxing. We ordered two of their signature Turkish dishes, the beef doner and Adana kebab, along with lentil soup to start. They also brought complimentary appetizers and their fresh house-made bread, which was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The bread tasted incredibly fresh, soft inside with a nice texture outside, and you can really tell it is made in-house. The lentil soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. The food overall was simply amazing. The beef doner was tender, juicy, and packed with authentic seasoning, while the Adana kebab had the perfect balance of spice and smokiness. Everything tasted fresh, well marinated, and very authentic. Portions were also generous and satisfying. To finish the meal, they served complimentary Turkish tea which was a really nice and warm touch to end the experience. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and has a welcoming atmosphere, while the service was friendly and attentive throughout. Service was also warm and perfect as they made sure we are happy and satisfied all along. Definitely one of the better Turkish restaurants in the area and a place we would happily come back to again.

Was introduced a while back and this is my 4th time. Absolutely loved our experience at Efendi Restaurant. The dips with the fresh warm bread were the perfect way to start the meal fresh, flavorful, and incredibly authentic. The Adana Kebab was cooked perfectly with great seasoning and a nice smoky flavor that paired so well with the rice and sides. The highlight to finish was definitely the kunefe. Crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy inside, with the perfect sweetness. One of the best Turkish desserts I’ve had in the GTA. Great atmosphere, generous portions, and amazing service. Will definitely be coming back again

I’ve always wanted to try Efendi Restaurant (Rutherford location), and it definitely lived up to the hype! My boyfriend and I had just finished almost two hours at the gym, so we walked in with a serious appetite. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly and seated right away — always a great first impression. I was craving the beyti kebab and wow… absolutely 🤤 so good! Flavorful, juicy, and exactly what I wanted. My boyfriend ordered the adana kebab — also delicious and perfectly seasoned. I did notice his dish didn’t come with lavash, so I asked for some on the side… but they were sooo busy that it never came 😂 The server did apologize, and honestly it was totally fine. They serve fresh bread with spicy ezme and haydari to start, which was amazing because we were starving. That definitely held us over! To make up for the lavash, the server kindly offered us coffee/tea and Turkish baklava — and let me just say, baklava is one of my favorite desserts and it was SO good here. Service is truly on point, even when they’re busy. For that alone (and of course the food!), I’ll definitely be coming back. 💛

Loved my experience there! It was our first time eating at a Turkish restaurant and the waiters were so patient and answered all of our questions. Quick service as well so that was nice! The food was all phenomenal and we will definitely be coming back for more 😊

We visited Efendi for our anniversary to and had such an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service made the night even more special. Huge thanks to Kamran for taking such great care of us — professional, friendly, and truly welcoming from start to finish. He made our celebration memorable. Highly recommend Efendi if you want great food and outstanding hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
